The Nike Kobe 8 Protro Venice Beach (GS) is made for grade school kids and takes ideas from the colorful street art of Venice Beach.

It has a light mesh upper that lets air flow through and feels flexible on the foot. The gray base is covered with a tie-dye look in bright shades of orange, red, yellow, green, and blue. A gray Swoosh with yellow trim sits on the outer side of the midsole. Another yellow Swoosh appears on the inner side near the ankle. Blue support pieces wrap around the heel and stretch under the front of the shoe. Kobe’s signature is shown in orange on the side of the heel. On the thin tongue, his logo appears in yellow and gray with a black outline.
