The New Balance 9060 Clay Ash gives a fresh take on the classic 99X line. It has a bold look with a smooth, modern feel that makes it stand out.

The upper uses light, breathable mesh in a soft linen color. Curved leather overlays in light green and light pink add support and give the shoe a retro style. A silver-gray New Balance logo sits on the side, while the clear heel piece helps keep the back of the shoe stable.

The midsole comes in tan and deep rose shades. It uses SBS and ABZORB cushioning to give soft comfort and a springy feel with every step. The black rubber outsole includes white grip pods that help with traction and shock absorption.

One of the best details is the tongue tag, which takes inspiration from the lace jewel on the original 991 model.
