The ASICS Gel-NYC Yankees blends classic running style with colors inspired by the New York Yankees.

It has a retro look with a design based on the GEL-Nimbus 3 and GEL-MC Plus V. The upper uses white mesh for better airflow, with dark blue synthetic and suede layers on top. Gray leather and synthetic details run along the sides and give the shoe its familiar ASICS style.

The midsole comes in white and gray and uses GEL cushioning in the front and back for soft comfort and a bouncy feel with each step. The white outsole has gray rubber sections for better grip and flexibility.

One of the best details is the small white ASICS logo on the blue side panel near the collar. It stands out without taking away from the clean look of the shoe.
